This summer The Homestretch is doing brunch. On alternating Thursdays throughout July and August, Calgary bloggers Jen Li and Bonnie Huang will join Doug Dirks on CBC Radio Calgary with a report on Cowtown's brunch scene.

Week 1: Galaxie Diner

Bonnie Huang says the retro feel and fast service at Galaxie Diner makes it a reliable choice for Sunday Brunch. Be forewarned: the lineups can grow to be a block long — or longer on the weekends, but staff at Galaxie serve coffee for those willing to wait.
