Highway 7 crash: Cyclist dies after collision with car south of Calgary
A man in his 40s has died after a crash with a vehicle on Monday afternoon while cycling on a highway south of Calgary.

A man in his 40s has died after a crash with a vehicle on Monday afternoon while cycling on a highway south of Calgary.
EMS crews from Okotoks and Nanton arrived on the scene just before 4 p.m. on Highway 7 between Aldersyde and Okotoks after reports of a collision involving a car and a cyclist.
The man sustained multiple traumatic injuries in the crash.
First responders said the man was not cycling at the time but was on the side of the eastbound lane. Stars air ambulance was called to the scene, but the man was taken by ground ambulance to the South Calgary Health Campus where he died.
The lone occupant of the vehicle was not injured. The investigation continues.
