Man found dead in southeast Calgary intersection after falling from vehicle

A man is dead after he either fell or was pushed out of a vehicle in traffic on Tuesday morning in southeast Calgary. 

Police say it's not known whether he fell or was pushed, nor whether he was injured prior

A man was found dead after he either fell or was pushed out of a vehicle in traffic Tuesday morning. 

Calgary police say they were called shortly before 9 a.m. to the intersection of Memorial Drive and 36th Street S.E. 

When crews arrived, the man was already dead. 

"There was no vehicle at the scene and officers are still working to determine what vehicle the man exited, and how," reads a news release from police. 

"The death is being investigated as a suspicious death."

Police said it's not known whether the man was injured prior to leaving the vehicle.

After reviewing security camera images, police shared a photo of a Volkswagen Jetta they said is believed to be connected to the man's death.

"At the time the deceased exited the vehicle at a red light, there were several cars in the area. Police are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have dash cam footage of the incident," police said.
