Police release composite sketch in hopes of identifying suspect
Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect after a woman was injured during a break-in last month at her northeast Calgary home.
A woman was sleeping in her home on Abadan Crescent N.E. when her dog woke her by barking at a man in her yard around 12:40 p.m. on May 21.
When the woman asked the man if he needed help, police say the suspect pushed her to the ground by forcing the door of the house open and ran inside.
The woman's arm was cut in an altercation that ensued before the suspect fled. Police have yet to locate him.
A composite sketch of the suspect's appearance was created from security camera footage from the Abbeydale neighbourhood and the victim's description.
The suspect is described as approximately five foot 10 with an average build.
He was wearing a black hoodie with the hood up, blue jeans, brown boots, sunglasses and a baseball cap.
