The polls have closed in Calgary's municipal election at 8 p.m. on Monday and results are expected shortly afterward.
Unlike federal and provincial elections, Calgary's municipal ballots are counted by vote-tabulation machines, which means large volumes of results can come in quite quickly, all at once.

(Until the first results roll in, all candidates are effectively tied with zero votes. During this time, scrolling over the map will simply show the candidate at the top of the list, sorted in alphabetical order by first name.)

Fluoride plebiscite results
Calgarians were asked: Are you in favour of reintroducing fluoridation of the municipal water supply?
It's an issue Calgary residents voted on in 1998 and 1989 as well, when they voted yes to fluoride. Calgary's city council chose to stop adding fluoride to the city's water supply in 2011.
By definition, a plebiscite is not legally binding, and city council will make the final decision.
