3rd man charged in Lukas Strasser-Hird's death
Police allege victim was involved in 2 altercations prior to his death
A third man has been charged in connection to the death of 18-year-old Lukas Strasser-Hird in a Beltline alley last weekend.
Police laid a charge of second-degree murder Friday after arresting the 20-year-old Thursday.
Two other suspects, aged 18 and 19, have been charged with first-degree murder and second-degree murder, respectively.
Lukas Strasser-Hird died last Satuday after suffering critical, life-threatening injuries in the alley located at Second Street and 10th Avenue S.W. An autopsy conducted Tuesday confirmed he died from stab wounds.
Police initially said they believed several people were involved in the incident.
It's believed Strasser-Hird was involved in two altercations before his death. After the first incident, he and friends were separated from the situation but ran into the other group of people shortly after.
Police say they expect to lay more charges and the investigation is ongoing.
