Man injured in Prince George bear attack
A man has been taken to hospital after he was attacked by a bear in a popular park in Prince George, B.C.
A sow and her cubs were located in the area and the sow was killed

A man was taken to hospital with minor injuries after he was attacked by a bear in a popular park in Prince George, B.C.
RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass says the attack happened at about 4:15 p.m. PT, Tuesday at Shane Lake in the Forests for the World park near the University of Northern B.C.
On Wednesday, conservation officers said a sow and her two cubs had been located in the area; the sow was shot but the cubs were tranquilized and relocated to a wildlife shelter.
Police say the 46-year-old man was walking his dog when the attack happened.
He sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
