The growing popularity of craft, artisan food in Vancouver has inspired a delectable tour that samples some of the best gourmet ice creams in the city.
"It's not just your plain vanilla and chocolate anymore," said Bonnie Todd, co-owner of Off the Eaten Track, in an interview with CBC host Gloria Macarenko.
From Salty Himalayan to caramelized honey walnut to mango passionfruit and even vegan coconut (made with soy and coconut milk), local chefs are combining high quality ingredients and new technologies to create exciting new flavours.
