RCMP have declared there is no threat to the courthouse in Kelowna, B.C., and have given the all-clear for people to return to the building, after ordering an evacuation Wednesday morning.
Police said they received a call around 9:30 a.m. PT about a possible threat to the Kelowna Law Courts on Water Street, in the downtown core of the Okanagan Valley city.
"The RCMP received a threat directed toward the courthouse here in Kelowna, so we evacuated the building," said Kelowna RCMP Const. Mike Della-Paolera.
