Kamloops B.C. girl, 15, killed in hit-and-run

Kamloops RCMP are investigating after a 15-year-old girl died after being hit by a vehicle on a busy street Friday evening.

Kamloops RCMP are investigating after a 15-year-old girl died when she was hit by a vehicle on a busy street Friday evening. 

It happened on Pacific Way on the southern outskirts of the city at approximately 6:45 p.m. PT. The girl was dead by the time officers arrived.

The vehicle did not stay on the scene, but police believe it was a pick-up truck.

Officers are currently in the area looking for a vehicle that has damage on its front passenger side.
