Gas prices hit record 155.9 cents per litre in Vancouver

Vancouver gas prices rose again overnight, and reached 155.9 cents per litre at many service stations in the city — the highest price on record.

Vancouver gas prices rose again overnight, and reached 155.9 cents per litre at many service stations in the city — the highest price on record.

According to GasBuddy.com — a website which tracks historic gas prices across the country — the price of regular fuel is 12 cents a litre higher than it was on this day last year, and seven cents a litre higher than one month ago.

The website lists the average price of gas in British Columbia as 146 cents, the Alberta price at 125.7 cents and the Canadian average at 137.7 cents.
