Police are investigating whether a burned vehicle is connected to the homicide

Police say they have arrested four people following a fatal shooting in Surrey Friday morning.
Surrey RCMP said they responded just after 8:45 a.m. Friday to a shooting in the residential area of 164 Street and 10 Avenue. They found a 29-year-old man who had suffered injuries and died at the scene.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT), which is working with the Surrey RCMP, announced the arrests just after 4 p.m. Friday and noted that the evidence points to a targeted shooting.
"We will continue to be in the area processing the scene and canvassing for witnesses," said Sgt. Timothy Pierotti in a news release.
The victim has been identified, but police say they will not release his name until they can notify his family.
Police are still investigating whether a burned vehicle located on McMillan Road is connected to the homicide.
