Dan David (Taiorenhote) was a freelance journalist who stayed behind the barricades at Kanehsatà:ke during the Oka Crisis. He helped smuggle food and medicine into the community and documented human rights abuses. He’s an award-winning writer, a former TV and radio journalist for CBC, TVO, Vision, and APTN.
