Bee swarms are (mostly) harmless, and more honey bee wisdom from the Ontario Bee Rescue team
We couldn't live in a world without bees — as humans, we greatly rely on them (and all pollinators) for our food production. That's why the work that Bruce Richardson and Joanne Crockett do as part of the Ontario Bee Rescue is so important. Not only do they remove honey bee swarms across the province and relocate them to a safe place to start a new colony, they do it for free, so you can avoid calling an exterminator. Check out the video below to see how Bruce and Joanne care for their hives, and learn some pretty un-bee-lievable bee facts.
With over 100 licensed beekeepers across Ontario taking part in the collective mission of Ontario Bee Rescue, you can be sure that help is close by next time you spot a swarm.
