Canada day, new movies, series premieres and more, here's a list of what's coming to CBC Gem this July.

This July, after two years of virtual celebrations and reflection, CBC will offer audiences a full lineup of Canada Day programming across all platforms, showcasing voices, music and perspectives from communities from coast-to-coast-to-coast.

In addition to kicking off the month with Canada Day coverage and specials, there is a long list of new movies, tv series and documentaries, including the new medical drama, SkyMed and Season 2 of the popular sand sculpting competition series, Race Against the Tide, featuring new host Wes Williams (aka Maestro Fresh Wes). 

Here is a full list of the new programming coming to CBC Gem in July:

July 1

  • CBC News Special: Canada Day 2022 (News special, begins at 11 a.m. ET)
  • Canada Day Evening Celebration (Variety Special, 8pm)
  • Canadian Strain (Comedy, 1x79 minutes)
  • Falls Around Her (Drama, 1x120 minutes)

July 4

  • Sorry For Your Loss (Drama, 10x30 minute episodes)

July 8

  • RBG (Documentary, 1x98 minutes)
  • A Brother's Love (Comedy, 1x117 minutes)
  • Stath Lets Flats (Comedy, 6x30 minute episodes) *Exclusive Canadian Premiere*

July 10

  • Race Against The Tide Season 2 (Competition, 10x30 minute episodes)
  • Skymed (Drama, 9x60 minute episodes)
  • The Great British Baking Show (10x75 minute episodes) *Exclusive Canadian Premiere*

July 15

  • Skymaster Down (Documentary, 1x88 minutes)
