Celebrating a major (Canadian) digital milestone, This Hour Has 22 Minutes has officially hit the 1 million follower mark on their TikTok channel. Not bad for a 32-year-old.

Featuring Stacey McGunnigle, Aba Amuquandoh, Mark Critch and Trent McClellan, the iconic series is the longest-running TV comedy series in Canadian history. They've brought their hilarious flavour of Canadian satire to the TikTok-verse back in September of 2021 and has been growing ever since.

The show itself lends itself to the kind of bite-sized humour popular on social media. The half-hour comedy show features short sketches and timely comedic coverage of hot-button topics including the US Presidential Election, the housing crisis, the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson boxing event, Taylor Swift and more, giving a nearly endless supply of fresh and relevant laughs at a time we all really need it.

One of the videos that started it all for the channel was the "Pot sobriety test" clip, featuring previous player Susan Kent and current regulars Mark Critch and Trent McClellan.
