Canadian drama series Wild Cards has a big surprise guest star lined up for its next episode: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards.

When Veronique, a wealthy, eccentric woman (who stars on a reality show about ahem, wealthy, eccentric women) is found dead while on a filmed girls' trip with her castmates, Max goes undercover as new cast member Aurora Banks while Ellis joins the team as a "crisis" producer.

In the episode, Richards plays Talia, a wealthy housewife and recovering alcoholic starring in the reality show, The Luxurious Ladies of Linden Ave. Her character is grieving the murder of her best friend Veronique.

Take a look:

"Kyle Richards was my favourite casting of the season but I'm biased because I love The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," says Vanessa Morgan who asked Richards for some beauty tips on set.

"I was blown away by her performance," says Giacomo Gianiotti. "This episode is easily the funniest of our entire season and I'm so glad that we got her because it adds a level of reality ohhh to that episode."

Kyle Richards guest stars on Wild Cards on March 12.
