CF Montreal sees 8-game unbeaten streak end in loss to Nashville SC
Cavallini converts stoppage time penalty kick to lift Whitecaps past Dallas FC
Hany Mukhtar scored the deciding goal to spark Nashville SC to a 2-1 victory over CF Montreal on Wednesday to up Nashville's home unbeaten streak to 23 straight and end Montreal's eight-game undefeated run.
Mukhtar's game-winner came in the 51st minute, putting Nashville (5-4-3) on top 2-0. C.J. Sapong assisted on the goal.
Alex Muyl staked Nashville to a 1-0 lead with a goal in the 28th minute.

Kei Kamara scored the lone goal for Montreal (6-4-2) in the 55th minute.
Montreal outshot Nashville 9-8. Both teams had four shots on goal.

Whitecaps defeat Dallas FC
Lucas Cavallini scored a last-minute penalty kick to lift Vancouver to a 2-1 win over FC Dallas on Wednesday evening at BC Place.
The ball found its way to centreback Ranko Veselinovic, who had pushed forward in attack, and was brought down for the penalty in the 92nd minute.
The result means Vancouver has won three of its last four games, having beaten Toronto FC, Valour FC and drawing 3-3 with the San Jose Earthquakes. The loss ends Dallas' nine-match unbeaten streak.

Brian White had tied the match in the 71st minute, rising to meet a cross from Cristian Gutierrez and sending the ball past Maurer.
Paul Arriola opened the scoring with his fourth goal of the season in the first half.
