Kingsbury completes World Cup sweep on home snow with dual moguls victory
Deux-Montagnes, Que., native defeats France's Benjamin Cavet at Val Saint-Côme
Canadian freestyle ski star Mikaël Kingsbury captured his second World Cup gold medal in as many days with a dual moguls victory Saturday night at Val Saint-Côme, Que.
Kingsbury, from Deux-Montagnes, Que., dazzled the home crowd while beating France's Benjamin Cavet in the men's big final.
American Nick Page took bronze.

The 32-year-old Kingsbury extended his all-time World Cup wins record to 96. He also won the men's moguls competition on Friday night, which followed back-to-back World Cup victories last weekend in Waterville, N.H.
Kingsbury has six gold medals and a silver across seven events this season and leads the men's overall moguls World Cup standings with 712 points. He holds a 232-205 point lead over Cavet in the dual moguls standings.

Saskatoon's Maia Schwinghammer, who won the women's moguls Friday, finished sixth as the top Canadian in the dual moguls event.
