Kokslien finished 16th in the ski jump, but overcame a deficit of 1 minute, 4 seconds to win the 10-kilometre cross-country race.
Olympic champion Jason Lamy Chappuis of France was second, 8.4 seconds back.
Felix Gottwald of Austria was third, 13.3 seconds back.
