Boston received forward Craig Weller, a second-round draft pick in 2011 and the rights to unsigned forward Alexander Fallstrom, a fourth-round selection of Minnesota's this year.

The Wild rank 27th in the NHL in scoring after Saturday's 2-1 loss in Vancouver, which dropped them to 1-6-0.

Kobasew, 27, has one assist in seven games with the Bruins this season. He recorded a career-high 42 points (21 goals) in 68 games in 2008-09.

Weller was playing with Minnesota's AHL affiliate in Houston. A veteran of 95 NHL games, he had three points in 36 games with the Wild last season.

Fallstrom is a freshman at Harvard University. The native of Sweden played high school hockey at prestigious Shattuck St. Mary's in Minnesota, where he had 87 points in 52 games last season.
