Maltais of Petite-Riviere-Saint-Francois, Que., and Ricker of West Vancouver, B.C., finished behind France's Nelly Moenne Loccoz and Deborah Anthonioz. Americans Lindsey Jacobellis and Callan Chythlook-Sifsof placed third.

On the men's side, France's Pierre Vaultier and Xavier De le Rue took gold. Jonathan Cheever and Nick Baumgartner of the United States were second and Norway's Joachim Havikhagen and Stian Sivertzen won bronze.
