President Trump has Raptors grateful for 'We the North'

The results are in and Donald Trump is the new president of the United States. Might this entice some high-profile athletes to play north of the border?

Players' Twitter accounts singing praise for working in Canada

Looks like NBA players might finally be excited to play north of the border. (Twitter)

Canada may have been deemed #WeTheOther last season, but after Tuesday night's election results, it appears some of the Toronto Raptors are more than happy to return from their trip to Oklahoma City, where they were playing the Thunder Wednesday night.

Norman Powell is in his second year with the Raptors and after a Trump victory he might be sticking around a little longer.

The California-born guard was not the only member of the squad to contemplate dual citizenship. Patrick Patterson, who reps #WeTheNorth hard in his Players' Tribune article, is all in for Powell's plan.

Delon Wright may be sidelined with an injury to his right shoulder, but it has not affected his ability to hit Twitter and find the silver lining in playing away from home.

And do not worry Canada, the L.A.-born guard knows exactly how to win you all over.
