Wilson hit a combined .263 with 17 home runs, 72 runs batted in, 58 runs scored and 12 stolen bases in 135 games last season.

He joined St. Louis on Aug. 15, three days after being released by Houston.

Wilson is a lifetime .264 hitter with 188 HRs, 663 RBIs, 567 runs and 122 steals in 1,083 games over nine MLB seasons for the New York Mets, Florida Marlins, Colorado Rockies, Washington Nationals, Astros and Cardinals.

He also played briefly for the Calgary Cannons of the triple-A Pacific Coast League in 2001.
