Townes spoke with The Next Chapter about the book she's reading: More Myself by American musician and songwriter Alicia Keys.
"I am currently reading More Myself by Alicia Keys, which I have absolutely been loving. I've been feeling so inspired by hearing her tell her story.
"In a nutshell, the book is about her path of sharing her music and what life was like before things really took off for her. It's so fascinating to me to hear about the creative process. She talks a lot about songwriting, getting her record deal and performing on Oprah for the first time.
It's so fascinating to me to hear about the creative process.
"It's about discovering her voice and her confidence through that whole path. It's wonderful to get to hear somebody talk about those moments from that 'looking back' perspective."
