In Kenya, lions are both revered and reviled. While the majestic beasts attract tens of thousands of tourists every year, they also threaten the livelihood of local farmers.

The Maasai people have long targeted lions which prey on their livestock -- a practice that has contributed to the significant decline in the lion population.

That is, until a 13-year-old Maasai boy from Kenya found a way to save his father's cattle with pure ingenuity.
