A flooded Houston weather forecaster on the future of his city
Eric Berger, a space journalist and meteorologist, reports on the flooding of his home city

There won't be many of Houston's millions of residents unaffected by the deluge of Hurricane Harvey. We've heard a lot of stories of disaster and heroism over the past week.
But a unique perspective came this week from journalist and meteorologist Eric Berger. Eric does double duty as a space reporter for the website Ars Technica, but is also a trained meteorologist with his independent weather forecasting service at his website Space City Weather.
Eric posted a great article on his experience and perspective on the Hurricane Harvey disaster. Listen above to hear Eric with a condensed version of it.
