Acclaimed music producer and singer, Beatchild, takes us back to where it all started for him in this edition of the q block party.

For over a decade, Beatchild (born Byram Joseph) has been making a name for himself as an acclaimed music producer and singer based in Toronto. He's made noteworthy songs with Drake and Tanika Charles, and has also gained solo recognition, formerly as Slakah the Beatchild and now with his collective Beatchild & The Slakadeliqs.

With his latest album, Heavy Rockin' Steady, out now, Beatchild takes us back to where it all started for him — Sarnia, Ont. — for another edition of the q block party.
