Demi Lovato lays bare alcohol addiction and relapse on new song Sober

For the first thing she loves this week, Donahue discusses Demi Lovato's new single Sober, which is being applauded for its honesty and transparency about addiction. In the song, Lovato opens up about the guilt she's feeling for breaking her sobriety, and apologizes to her parents and fans. She released Sober last Wednesday, June 20 and performed it live for the first time in Portugal a few days later.

Donahue's second "good" for the week is all about an instance of life imitating art, as Game of Thrones stars Kit Harrington (John Snow) and Rose Leslie (Ygritte) tied the knot this past weekend at a castle owned by Leslie's family in Aberdeen, Scotland.

As for the thing she's not loving, Donahue weighs in on David Lynch's recent interviews in the Guardian and Vulture, in which the director made some controversial remarks in support of President Trump and comedian Louis C.K.
