- Dr. Louise Aronson makes the case for embracing robot caregivers for our loved ones. She argues that not only can robots help with the tedious/dangerous/dirty daily tasks, they can also provide supplementary care to help combat loneliness and isolation. - Stephen talks to French-Canadian actress Charlotte Le Bon about her burgeoning big-screen career: from her initial decision to leave Quebec for France, her gig as a weather-woman/stand-up-comic for Canal+ and now, her Hollywood debut in the new film The Hundred-Foot Journey, co-starring Helen Mirren. - Best of Q: Jian's Munk Debate preview on state surveillance as a "legitimate defence of our freedoms." Former CIA director and retired U.S. general Michael Hayden agrees; investigative journalist and groundbreaking NSA reporter Glenn Greenwald says "basic political liberties" are in jeopardy. Jian speaks to both. [FULL POST]
