Choose Your Own Adventure returns for a new generation
Anson Montgomery, heir to the Choose Your Own Adventure throne, on reviving the beloved children's book series.

"This book is different from other books. You and YOU ALONE are in charge of what happens in this story."
If you recognize that description, you were probably a childhood fan of the Choose Your Own Adventure series. The books first hit stores in the late 1970s and introduced reading as a more active experience, allowing young readers to follow their own path to one of several possible endings.
The original series ended decades ago — but now Anson Montgomery, son of original author Raymond Mongomery, has stepped up to complete the original series. He joins Shad to discuss writing for a new, smartphone-toting generation.
