Why can't God be a woman? Two angles on the push for She
The use of "He" in reference to God has centuries of tradition behind it. Can it be seriously challenged in Christian circles?

He's an older, white man with a white beard who wears a white robe. Whether or not you're a person of faith, you're likely familiar with this widespread depiction of God.
But within Christian circles, a recent campaign to recast God as a woman has gained traction. For insight on the push for She, Shad checks in with two Christians on opposite sides:
- Jody Stowell, a Vicar with the Church of England, is among those campaigning for the right to refer to God with female pronouns.
- Michael Coren, an author, journalist and member of the Anglican Church of Canada, worries the change will alienate believers. He makes the case for holding fast to God as "he".
