Help choose q's inaugural Artist-in-Residence
For the first time in q history, we're searching for an official Artist-in-Residence. This individual will be the show's go-to for creative commentary on matters of artistic and cultural significance — from historical milestones to viral memes.
We've enlisted six impressive Canadian artists to vie for the position. It's up to you to pick the one you like best!
Creative challenge: I'm sorry you're offended.
You can tell a lot about a culture by what causes offence, and how far its artists can push the boundaries of the socially acceptable. It's a theme we've explored from many angles on this show.
We asked six artists to create an original piece that includes the phrase: "I'm sorry you're offended."
There will be four rounds of voting. After each round, voting is open until midnight the following day.
Today we present the first pair of six original works inspired by this theme.
