Four nights a week, the Bear Clan Patrol walks the streets of Winnipeg's North End.
The volunteer group patrols all year long — even in the depths of the city's bone-chilling winters. They aim to provide people in the neighbourhood with a sense of security, reduce harm, and intervene when vulnerable citizens are put at risk.
