James Ellroy is the man behind contemporary crime fiction classics like "The Black Dahlia" and "L.A. Confidential", which was adapted into an Oscar-winning film. James Ellroy's most recent novel, Perfidia, is the first of a new series called The Second Los Angeles Quartet. Set in post-Pearl Harbour Los Angeles, it's the story of an investigation into the death of a Japanese-American family. Last fall, James Ellroy sat down with Brent Bambury for a wide-ranging interview about his new novel.
