Saskatoon's assistant fire chief and fire marshal sat down with the man who erected a tarped shelter on 20th street to look for a compromise. David Fineday is defying city orders by refusing to tear down the camp and burning an open fire inside the shelter. Fire officials say they understand it's a ceremonial fire and will work with him to find a new location and safer option.
