A local non-profit says the number of hungry kids in Waterloo region has reached new heights and their grant funding can't keep up with it. Nutrition for Learning is dedicated to helping feed school children. It says there has been a drop in funding from local partnerships. Erin Moraghan, the CEO of Nutrition for Learning, told The Morning Edition guest host Josette Lafleur that the organization is looking forward to the new federal funding announcement to help feed 160,000 students over three years.
