U.S. President Donald Trump says he wants to expel Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and build the "Riviera of the Middle East.” Those comments are already creating instability in the Middle East, says Ghaith al-Omar, who acted as an adviser to the Palestinian negotiating team during the 1999 to 2001 peace talks. Now a senior fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, he spoke to As It Happens host Nil Köksal.
