Writing news comedy in a chaotic news cycle

      • Radio
      • Duration 8:06

This Hour Has 22 Minutes is in its 32nd season, and still finding humour in a particularly difficult news cycle right now. For head writer Jordan Foisy, it's all about keeping pace with the rapid political changes, and trying to offer a little catharsis (a collective sigh, if you will) at the end of a long news week. He tells guest host Preston Mulligan about the role of comedy news shows at a time when people might be feeling a little burnt out by traditional news.
