The man was taken to a retail business on Selkirk Avenue between Powers and McGregor streets and was coerced into buying something and getting cash back to give to the robbers, police said.

After that, he was let go nearby on Salter Street.

Police said the man did not know his attackers.

Police were called about the robbery and went to Burrows Avenue to investigate around 7 the same morning, the news release said.

The major crimes unit and the tactical support team arrested four suspects on Sunday.
