Police in London, Ont., have arrested and charged a man in relation to a voyeurism investigation.
A couple staying inside an Airbnb on Blackacres Boulevard on July 15 located a hidden camera in the bedroom of the short-term rental and alerted police.
The London Police Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at the address on July 28 and found video evidence of voyeurism.
Two unidentified victims had been captured on the video evidence, police said.
"Airbnb bans hidden cameras. Shortly after the guest brought this allegation to our attention in July, we took action to remove this host from the platform," said an Airbnb spokesperson in an email to CBC News.
According to Airbnb's policy, concealed and undisclosed devices monitoring common spaces are not allowed unless disclosed to customers and devices located in or monitoring private spaces are strictly forbidden.
The company said the guest who reported the incident was fully refunded.
