Two-time Juno Award nominee Peach Pit made their broadcast debut on Sunday night with a thrilling performance of Magpie, the title track of their fourth studio album. They also opened and ended their set with a bit of Black Sabbath's 1970 song War Pigs. The Vancouver band was nominated for alternative album of the year this year. They were first nominated in 2021 for breakthrough group of the year.
