Following Maestro Fresh Wes and Sum 41's inductions during the 2024 and 2025 Juno Awards, the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) has announced a new slate of Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductees.

Dan Hill, best known for his megahit "Sometimes When We Touch," along with Ginette Reno, queen of the chanson québécoise, rock band Glass Tiger and harpist/"The Mummer's Dance" singer-songwriter Loreena McKennitt will join the previously inducted rapper and punk-rock group in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

The spring ceremony will take place on May 15 at Studio Bell in Calgary, during an in-person event presented by Music Canada.

"We are honoured to be inducting these incredible artists, their songs and voices have been instrumental in shaping our Canadian identity," said Allan Reid, president and CEO of CARAS, the Juno Awards and MusiCounts. "This is the third time we've held this multiple induction ceremony and we are committed to recognizing more great Canadian artists and their musical contributions to our country in the future."

Past inductees into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame have included Oliver Jones, Terri Clark, Alanis Morissette, Anne Murray, Gordon Lightfoot, Blue Rodeo and Deborah Cox.
