Steven Sabados makes: A no-sew celestial tablecloth with napkins to match
Craft this stellar DIY for kids’ birthday parties, or any parties, tbh
Inspired by the entire universe — OK, maybe just by a time Steven Sabados got some unintentional bleach spots on his clothing — this celestial no-sew tablecloth and napkins are the perfect table dressing for the ultimate kids' birthday party, or as a starry setting for your next fancy dinner table. In his latest video, Steven shows us how simple it is to achieve this pretty pink-tinged, starry-sky pattern with just some bleach and a paintbrush. Watch to see how this cosmic creation comes together.
Here's what you'll need to follow along:
- 100 per cent cotton navy fabric
- Drop cloth or plastic drop sheet
- Rubber gloves
- Bleach
- Paintbrush
- Iron
- White vinegar
- Scissors
- Seam binding tape, or a sewing machine
Note: when working with bleach, be sure to wear rubber gloves, use a drop sheet and always work in a well-ventilated area.
