Recipe: Chocolate Medallions
These super easy treats are the perfect little treat for Valentine's Day

Customize these super easy Chocolate Medallions with your love's favourite candy to make their Valentine's Day that much sweeter.
Ingredients
- 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips, melted
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- ½ cup variety of Valentine's Day candies (divided in half)
- Parchment paper
- 2-3" round glass Pencil for tracing
Preparation
Trace 12 circles using a glass on a sheet of parchment paper. Turn upside down and place on a baking tray.
Slightly crush half of your Valentine's Day candies, set aside. Melt chocolate and coconut oil in the microwave or on a double boiler. Once melted, remove from heat and let sit for 30 seconds so it thickens slightly.
Add approx 1 tbsp of chocolate on top of each traced circle. Use a palette knife or back of a spoon to spread to edges. Sprinkle on whole and crushed candies into a decorative pattern. Repeat will remaining circles. Chill in the fridge until hardened.
