Clip in, things are going to get fun fast

Remember the hair accessories you wore as a kid? Well, they've officially become a serious fashion trend. Hair clips, headbands and scrunchies are back and more grown-up than ever. Same goes for the bows and barrettes of your youth too.

We've seen them on the Spring/Summer 19 runways at Prada, Emilia Wickstead and Ashley Williams.

They're on streets too thanks to Instagrammers like Danielle Bernstein, Olivia and Alice and Paola Alberdi. If you look closely, you'll see they're not like you remember. Newer takes on the trend are edgier: oversized, blinged out and with logos from some of our fave designers. The options now are endless and part of the appeal is that there are so many ways to wear this look, no matter your hair type or style. Keep scrolling for the top hair accessories to shop for the best hair days of your life.
