"Well, isn't this nice": Alanis Morissette's selling her LA home for $5.5 million
Ironically, we’ve kept the puns at all time low
Canadian singer, songwriter and overall good spirit Alanis Morissette is selling her longtime LA home in Brentwood, California for $5.5 million USD. If you're wondering about the conversion, that's $6.9 million Canadian.
Alanis bought her abode for $1.8 million in 1996 one year after the release of Jagged Little Pill.
192 N Tigertail Rd is not in a gated community, but there is a gate in front of the home, so Alanis should have been able to ward off paps and bling-ring types. Alas, earlier this year thieves got away with almost $2 million in jewelry from her home.
MORE CELEBRITY REAL ESTATE:
Interiorly it's 5,152 square feet, with 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, a pool and stunning city views. But that's sort of where the luxury ends. The bells and whistles on this property are very subtle and very Alanis.
Alanis hasn't really been in the spotlight lately, doing only a few small acting stints, and has been focusing on her family: a husband (who she married in 2010 in a ceremony at the home) and her two small children, Ever Imre and Onyx Solace.
