Highbury Avenue closed from Hamilton Road to Highway 401 for Thursday

Any nourthbound traffic exiting the highway at Highbury will be redirected to Bradley Avenue. Southbound traffic along Highbury will detour at Hamilton.

The closure begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m.

Highbury Avenue is closed from Hamilton Road to Highway 401 for several hours Thursday for operations and infrastructure maintenance. 

The closure starts at 9 a.m. The road is expected to reopen at 4 p.m.. 

Any nourthbound traffic exiting the highway at Highbury will be redirected to Bradley Avenue, the City of London said in a media release. Southbound traffic along Highbury will detour at Hamilton.

The City of London is urging drivers to find alternative routes, and to expect traffic delays. 

London Transit Commission (LTC) bus routes may be affected. Riders can check the LTC's website for updates.
