SWIFT CURRENT, SK—Kyle Tamblyn, a diehard fan of Twin Peaks, is very excited about the show's impending return this Sunday.

In fact, he's so looking forward to it that he's spending today planning a viewing party with all his friends, so they can all be together while they feel uneasy and slightly nauseous, like something just is not right in the world, just nothing is right, and nothing can be known for sure.

Gonna be a blast!

"I love this show, I think we're going to have so much fun," said Tamblyn about a show that centres around the murder of a young girl, supernatural terrors, and a dull, underlying sense of dread about what lies in the heart of middle America, among many other horrors.

"Probably bake some cookies or buy some Doritos," he said, speculating on what delicious snacks the group might want to sit uneaten on the table in front of them as they stare, mouths agape, some remembering how dark and strange the show and the world of the denizens of Twin Peaks is, others discovering it, horrified, for the first time.

"Would be fun to order a pizza, too!"

"I can't wait to see this," said Tamblyn's friend Shauna Kakalo. "I've never seen Twin Peaks but watching anything together in a group is just so fun, it's a laugh riot."

"Sometimes you make fun of the show, that's fun too," she added, blissfully unaware that 48 short hours from now she would be unable to speak any words at all, let alone playful ones teasing the show that had put her in touch with a dark part of her soul she had heretofore not known existed.

At press time, Tamblyn was humming the theme song in a jaunty way.
