You might've first seen Grace Dove in the 2015 film The Revenant alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. Now, she's starring in the film Bones of Crows, which follows a Cree code talker who's dealing with the effects of intergenerational trauma.
The Secwépemc actor and director tells guest host Vivek Shraya about the importance of this project being Indigenous-led, how the film helped her to heal from her own trauma and what she hopes audiences take away from the story.
